Model for the formation of humanitarian thinking for future engineers in higher education

Abstract

The article presents the results of the experimental implementation of the model of pedagogical design of joint educational programs for the training of teachers of fine arts of Russia and China at the Faculty of Art and Graphics of the Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPSU). Both positive and problematic aspects of this educational model are revealed. The positive results include a significant increase in the level of formation of professional and intercultural competencies among students of the experimental group, as well as the active participation of the teachers of the Moscow State University in academic mobility and joint educational initiatives with universities in China. At the same time, the experiment revealed the problem of the language barrier, which negatively affects the quality of professional training of Chinese students. In conclusion, the authors formulated some recommendations for further improvement of the model of pedagogical design of joint educational programs, including in terms of strengthening the fundamentals of professional training and developing effective language support mechanisms for students from China.
